Services offered by Mei include the following. You can work with Mei in any capacity you prefer from comprehensive planning and handling to just booking select parts of your trip while still getting the great benefits that come with using a travel professional.

  1. Destination research and recommendations
  2. Customized itinerary planning
  3. Researching and recommending accommodations
  4. Vetting and selecting tours and activities
  5. Booking for transportation, booking tours/activities and accommodations, including securing available upgrades and perks (often at no extra cost to the client)

Mei's travel philosophy is "champagne style on a beer budget". Or rather, a highly rated Kirkland wine style and budget: enjoyable, maximizes value and filled with undiscovered gems. She prefers new (or newly renovated) boutique hotels that punch above their price point. She strives to create itineraries that balance splurgy and cost-effective experiences/lodging, planned and spontaneous time, high-end restaurants and local cheap eats. Her personal travel is a mix of city explorations (Athens, Rome, Paris, London, Edinburgh, Lisbon, Tokyo, Kyoto, Nuremberg, Budapest, Madrid and Barcelona to name a few), nature getaways (hiking in the English Lake District, Vancouver Island, Hawaii) and wine-focused trips (Tuscany, Napa, Sonoma, Finger Lakes NY (great Rieslings!)). Of course, there are occasions when only champagne will do! Mei can help you plan your aspirational, once-in-a-lifetime trips too. Contact Mei at mei@odysseytravelinc.com to plan your bucket list trips, short getaways and everything in between.

Mei plans her travel calendar 2 years out (at least!) and currently researching: hiking trips to the Moselle Trail in Germany, the Bernese Oberland in Switzerland and Taroko Gorge in Taiwan; taking cruise to celebrate her parents 60th wedding anniversary; and a safari (either South Africa or Kenya)
